Al Ahmadi Tower

Al Ahmadi Tower lies south of the village of the same name in the Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate in Oman.

I know absolutely nothing about this tower, not even its name. I named it Al Ahmadi Tower because it was situated in the oasis which belonged to the village of Al Ahmadi. If you know anything about its history, please mail me.

This sturdy round tower is situated in the middle of an oasis. It is part of a semi-ruined mudbrick village and at present seems to be used as a shed or stable.

Al Ahmadi Tower can only be seen from the outside. A nice tower in a lush oasis. It can not be reached by car, so just park at the main dust road traversing the oasis and follow a path. Bait Al Yahmadi Castle is nearby.
