Al Hamra Towers

The Al Hamra Towers stand on a dune ridge east of the town of the same name, in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.

I guess both towers were built in the early 20th century to guard the settlement of Al Hamra from pirates and oversee the pearl divers. I don't have any historical information about these towers. If you know anything, please mail me. 

Both towers can freely be visited, although not their interior. A couple of nice towers.
