Ghab Castle

Ghab Castle lies in the old ruined village of the same name, in the Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate in Oman.

I don't know anything about this castle. Not even if it has a name; I named it Ghab Castle after the village it is situated in. If you know anything, please mail me.

It probably was a fortified tower house. The castle has a rectangular ground plan with one round tower attached to its northwest corner.

Ghab Castle is freely accessible. A nice small ruin in a ruined village. The village is situated next to the road between Ibri and Al Khabourah on the coast, in the Wadi Al Hawasnah.
