Marjeb Castle

Marjeb Castle, sometimes also called Hafeet Castle or Bu Baqara Castle, lies south of the village of Bu Baqara, beneath the Jebel Hafeet mountain, in the Al Buraymi Governorate in Oman.

Marjeb Castle has a square ground plan with one square corner tower and a rectangular keep.

I wasn't able to find any historical information about Marjeb Castle. If you know anything, please mail me.

When I visited the castle, it was closed. I don't know if it ever opens for visits. Too bad, I would have liked to see its interior. A very nice castle.
