Beyler Tower

Beyler Tower, locally known as Beyler Kulesi or sometimes as Donduran Kalesi, lies on a hill next to the village of Donduran, southwest of the city of Nazili, in the province of Aydιn in Turkey.

Beyler Tower was probably built in the first half of the 1760s. I could not find any further historical information about it. If you know more, please mail me.

Beyler Tower is a tower house, entrance was through a door on the first floor, which was protected by a drawbridge.

A nice tower. It is actually one of three towers in the Aydιn province. The other ones being nearby Arpaz Castle and Cihanoğlu Tower, a bit further away. The site is freely accessible, but be careful where you walk because there are a lot of nice turtles crawling around in the grass.
