Šušina Tower
Šušina Tower, locally known as Šušina Kula, lies south of the town of Donji Karin, in the county of Zadar in Croatia.
I could not find any info about this tower. As it is situated on a hill leading to Karin Castle, I suspect it was part of the defense system of the former town of Corinium/Karin, together with several other towers.
The tower is square and had a vaulted ground floor. The attached rectangular structure may be of a later date.
Šušina Tower is freely accessible. A nice tower, but be aware of poisonous snakes which apparently frequent the ruin. I encountered one, which luckily was more startled than I was.
